Purchasing a chandelier is a major event. Many people do not know enough about them to make an educated choice. We have been selling chandeliers to retail customers over 12 years. During this time we had numerous calls from our customers saying that they had purchased a chandelier from another place and when they unpacked it, the quality of the chandelier was not what they have been promised. When they wanted to return it, the seller would not take it back. They were stuck with a chandelier that they did not want and they could not do anything about it.
Following are a few tips to protect yourself from unnecessary disappointments
and headaches when purchasing
your chandelier.

Do you have a return policy?
The most
important thing is to make sure that the seller has a return policy that will
refund you your money in case you are not satisfied with the quality. Do not
take their word for it, because they can always deny it. It has to be written
either on your order confirmation or on their website. Some sellers have
restocking fees up to 30%. Try to buy from a seller that does not have any
restocking fees.
We offer a hassle free 30 days money back guarantee with no restocking fees. We will even pay for the shipping charges back to us. Click here for details.
Where is it made?
The
chandeliers are made in a variety of countries which effects the quality of the
fixture. Find out where it is made and decide accordingly.
The majority of our chandeliers are made in our own
factory in Valencia-SPAIN, which is well know all over the world for the
exceptional quality of its Lighting, Furniture and Ceramic Tile Manufacturers
for over 150 years. The rest of our chandeliers are made in ITALY, including the
Murano and the Maria Theresa Styles, which are also very famous for the quality
of their Lighting Fixtures.
What kind of Crystal is used?
Compare apples
to apples. There are companies selling chandeliers at very low prices dressed
with crystals that are inferior quality. They may call them 24% Lead Crystal,
Italian Crystal or some other names. Crystal is the most expensive part of a
chandelier so if there is a big difference in the price of the chandelier from
one company to another, make sure that they are giving you a good quality
crystal (at least 30% Lead Oxide) and make sure that they are not mixing low
quality crystals with high quality .
We use one of the finest quality crystals in the industry to dress our chandeliers. Our crystal is Full Lead Crystal, which has a 30% Lead Oxide content (highest in the industry). Each piece is cut and polished using the highest technology available to achieve maximum color refraction and sparkle. All the prices for our chandeliers in our website are for the Full Lead Crystal. To show you the quality of our crystal, when you request our catalog, we will also send you one of our Full Lead Crystal pieces for your review. We do NOT mix and match lower quality crystals with our Full Lead Crystals for any of our chandeliers. We feel that using a lower quality crystal to dress any crystal chandelier goes against the grain, which is why we only use the finest the world has to offer. To learn more about crystal please visit our Crystal Quality page.
Can you send me a sample of Crystal?
Ask them to send you a sample of crystal
and keep it to compare it with the ones that will come with your chandelier.
Here again , Money Back Guarantee becomes very important.
When you
request our catalog and CD-ROM, we also
include a sample of our Full Lead Crystal. You will be able to see for
yourself, the colors and sparkle that is expected from a good quality crystal.

What kind of warranty does it have?
Make sure that the chandelier comes with a written warranty against factory
defects and tarnishing. There are a lot of companies that sell chandeliers that
are made of low quality materials and workmanship which will cause your chandelier
to tarnish in about 6 months to a year. The longer the warranty, the better
it is.
To prove our confidence in our products, we are
offering a 10 year warranty with all of our chandeliers against tarnishing and
factory defects. If any parts of our chandeliers shows defects or tarnishes
during this period of time, we will repair or replace the chandelier free of
charge.
